View Full Version : Can Someone suggest me a good IPTV IKS(PC Based)?
I've been trying to use kodi/XBMC, but it's extremely unreliable for many of sports channels.
Many of the channels buffer constantly (and then eventuallly crash), and other just simply do not work.
Could someone suggest me a decent IPTV solution? willing to pay, but as long as I get a good service...
FYI, bandwidth shouldn't be an issue as I have 25down 15 up.

well for starters... forget about kodi and use xbmc gotham. it is stable. excessive buffering means either server is overloaded or network speed is insufficient. your network speed doesn't mean anything if the server is only uploading at 5 Mbits

I don't have any buffering problems, & I don't have half the speed u got. I'm watching the leaf game right now on kodi without a hiccup. Have u looked at Youtube for buffering fixes?

I love sportsdevil and does work. but the issue I find with the add-ons are that I couldn't find a way to record a show/sportsfor later. Is it possible?

best bet is to send johnnytest a pm and ask the source directly...

What's the scoop on kodi -vs- XBMC Gotham? Is there another group that is carrying on with the XBMC name?

Only a name change....XBox Media Center is on more platforms now than just the XBox so they decided to change the name.
What I don't understand is why anyone would pay for IPTV when all the content they are offering you can get for FREE with little effort...and yes, HD quality is available. There isn't 1 channel or event or sports or movie that they offer that I can't get for FREE using Kodi or Plex or Sports Devil or the 100s of other add ons available.

Since you mention PC based and sports have you tried;
hxxp://cricfree.sx/
Would recommend to install an Adblock adon before viewing content on your browser, and also install the correct plug-in to view the content, if already not installed.
Never tried recording from the site above, maybe a screen capture program, but one would have to be at their computer to start the capture.
