No sat signal

can anyone help bought a linkbox8000hd local typed all the corresponding keys but i get no signal for sats ....am i doing something wrong

friend you might start by posting what dish and lnbs your using and what sats your pointing too and whats the setting for each sat your pointing too,and if your using any switches on your setup....

sorry about that ...i am using a dish 500 pointing to 110, 119 ,,,i have a sonicview 8000 working same setup right now but cannot get the sat signals on the linkbox to come in
