Hey Guy's : I need some help here with my JinxBox Ultra v2 . Here is the story . A couple of weeks ago my north stopped connecting to server , south was OK & working . Bought another code for satlobo north & couldn't get it to connect either . South satlobo is still working fine . I then shifted reseller & purchased another north satlobo code to no avail . Next step was to purchase a different provider (uitimate) north . It worked fine but caused my south satlobo from original reseller to start not connecting to server . So here I was with north working but lost my south . Next I purchased a south code from same reseller I got uitimate from & it won't connect . At present I have two different providers on my box , north is uitimate (working fine) south is satlobo that won't connect even when I shut the north server settings off . I have noticed that if I'm watching north & shift sat's to 110-119 , the uitimate server stays connected . Only way to disconnect it is in server settings . Has anyone else ever struck similar problem with their JinxBox . Only thing I've done to box so far is hard reboots along with router . Problem appears to be the JinxBox not responding to change of satellite . Any & all help here will be appreciated . Other changes I have made since this problem began is new JB200 , new hard wire (router to box) new router .

Try replacing your switch. I have seen that issue before and it turned out to be a faulty switch and cable.

Could you give more detail . What switch & what cable ??? Are you talking the DiSRqC 4 X 1 on outside of house coming from sat's . The signal at the box is strong from both set's of sat's according to the boxes signal strength bar .

Also you should not have to turn a server off to get another. If changing the switch does not work, factory default your unit then redo your sats. Once that is done then install your servers. You my need to hard boot to connect.

Thanks : Will have to get out my old instruction's on setting this box up , a little scared with that factory default , done it with the first receiver I bought & screwed it up . Done it at the wrong phase of setup . Was more careful with second receiver & all worked out OK . I'll read-read-read and then try setting it up all over again . It's been a while since I've touched this box so I'm real rusty on correct way to proceed without killing the JinxBox like my first one . Once burnt - twice shy .

The box has already been set up. Simply factory default (make sure you have all information for servers, lnb settings for each sat, etc. I find taking a screen shot using your phone or ipod or whatever is easiest) then put in your information for a sat and then scan it then do the next one the same until you are done them all then do your servers.
