Remote is stuck on " etc "

Confused -- Remote was working great and somehow it got stuck on etc

The area we are in is where it has the channels ---- a,b,c,d,e,f, to z -- below the z is the etc

With it stuck on here , all we`re getting is two channels and can`t seem to find the way to get out of the ETC

Anyone with some suggestions ------ don`t know how it ended up on here but it did --

Have tried to remove the batteries and reinstall, then reboot the receiver?

hit the sat button and change to "all satellite"

Checked and we're on ALL SATELLITES ------- With it sitting and stuck on ETC we only have the option of two channels - right now all I see is to factory reset and start over ---------- had such a hard problem right at the first for it to accept the file -- it never showed the satellites -- sent it back to the supplier to get it working
