I just installed a dish 1000.2 no switch or power inserter. I have a dreamlink HD and a regular dreamlink SD hooked up to the satellite. Both receivers on at the same time. SD receiver works excellent. HD receiver keeps giving me Bad Or No Signal a lot. I restart it and then it gets fixed but then it comes back. Can someone tell me the problem

Can someone tell me the problemfriend you need a dp44 and power inserter for more then one receiver, hope your hd module its not going bad, once they start to over heat to much its a matter of time....

Try hooking up the hd receiver by itself and see if it still persists. If so, go into manual scan and switch through tp till red lines become green- this has worked for me numerous times. If all good, get the proper switch as SC mentioned in the previous post.

I use the same dish gera815 and it is a power hog! You need to use a power inserter on port 1 and your stb's on port 2 and 3 or use dp44
