Checked all postings to see if any one else was having this problem ------- read one post by iq180 on what to do --- doesn't work -- when you go to the Tools -- go to wi-fi and the WI-FI Manager is a lite blue -- meaning you can't even shut it down -- it just skips over to Server Setting from Network Local Setting
Anyone have any suggestions as when I leave the Menu , it shuts down off the Ethernet cable
I have done a Factory Reset and starting over again with all the info ( It goes on ethernet after a hard boot but soon as you leave the guide it bounces right back to the wi-fi

Anyone have any suggestions -- thanks in advance

Give us a model. If you tried the antenna and can't get access to wifi, need another.

Try your wifi dongle in the front usb port if it don't work there then you have a bad dongle.

One more way to test your wifi dongle, if you are using windows 7 plug your wifi dongle in your computer, it should see the dongle,
it mite say no driver found but as long as the computer can see it, it should be good.

Hi Grumps, This must be frustrating. First I recommend a factory reset. After the factory reset turn off your receiver and unplug it from the outlet for about 5 minutes. Then fire it up and see if you can maintain a ethernet connection. If not, you should relaod the factory software via rs232 cable using the all chunks mode. All chunks more replaces the boot instructions and every thing. Then load the file you want via USB. Remeber to do factory resets after installing new software.
