Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if I can expand my satellite setup to add these satellites:
110 and 129
My current setup is:
18x24 eliptical satellite
1 LNB (118 and 119) (Ariza Model No. CL832-30)
3 LNB holder bracket
Pinwheel HD mini satellite receiver
Sateliite name: echostar 14 (119w)
Tuner: 1
LNB type: KU_Lnb
Local frequency: 10600
22Khz: Auto
Tp frequency: 12224/v/20000
Diseqc parameter: none
Diseqc 1.1: none
Legacy switch: none
Signal 66%. Quality 95
Sateliite name: echostar 118 west
Tuner: 1
LNB type: Univ_lnb
Local frequency: 9750/10600
22Khz: Auto
Tp frequency: 11715/v/20000
Diseqc parameter: none
Diseqc 1.1: none
Legacy switch: none
Signal 68% Quality 95
I know that I would need another 2 LNBs for other 2 birds. Would I be able to use Old B3v satellite lnbs? or Do I need different (if new one then any recommendation which one and from where?) one?
I will probably also require a switch but not sure what or which one to buy
How about bracket for LNBs?
Thanks,
Terryl

In your post you show a 3 LNB bracket, for what type of LNB's and what spacing?
If it will fit a standard LNB with a 40mm neck, then you need 2 circular polarized LNB's of that type.
Then the bracket needs to be able to space them at 9 degrees for the 110W satellite, 118/119 in the center and 129W at 10 degrees, the 110 LNB will be on the right (looking from the back of the dish) and the 129 LNB will be on the left, this because the signals cross over as they bounce off the dish.
A standard Diseqc 4x1 switch will work.
I think your lnb local freq., and lnb type are wrong for your current lnb.

118/119 same Lnb should be KU lnb for both and frequency 10750

I don't know what kind of LNB bracket do i have?2335923360
I have attachted a picture of my lnb and bracket. Would you be able to tell me if this bracket will work for 2 other lnbs? And what kind of LNB will i need to buy?
I have corrected my LNB settings and changed it to KU.

I have corrected my LNB settings and changed it to KU.those two lnbs are circular dual lnbs they should work for sats 110-and 129 and if the lnb for 118-119 its in the middle the bracket and lnbs should work for sats 110-118-119- and 129 and for sat 110 use tp 12224 and sat 129 use tp 12516,good luck friend....

Thanks.
So I will need 2 circular LNBs for 110 and 129 and diseqc 4x1 switch. What about that bracket? New LNBs should fit in the old bracket, right?
Any suggestion where to buy those 2 LNBs?

Any suggestion where to buy those 2 LNBs?assuming that right now the lnb in the middle its the special lnb for sats 118-119 and if the lnbs on the bracket I,m seeing has all thre lnbs already, try to measure the gap from lnb 110 and lnb 118-119 and also measure the gap from the lnb 118-119 to the 129 also the gap or distance from 118-119 to 110 and 129 has to about the same,i,m thinking who ever was using that dish and lnbs was already pointing to sats 110-118-119-129 with that dish and lnbs,so the bracket should be good....

That bracket should work, look here for the LNB's.

You'll also have to adjust the skew/tilt on the dish for your area.

Hey guys,
So i have added another circular lnb and a diseqc 2.0 switch but now when I go into antenna settings then satellite won't lock to 118 or 119.
Do each of satellite have to connect to any specific port on the switch or I can pick any port on the switch?
Thanks,

Just pick a port and change box settings so that you get the right one when you want it. Course the dish pointing may be off with your new LNB, but if you did not change anything the first should be pointed correctly. You sort of have to know what you are doing.

I tried different ports on but 118/119 would not work with any port settings. My dual circular LNB is few years old and switch is new. Would it possible that LNB is too old for this switch?
Or new switch does not let the some of the frequencies pass thru which are required by old circular LNB?
Do I have too buy new dual circular LNB which is compatible with this switch?

Sounds like you are using the wrong lnb for 118/119. You need a special lower frequency 10750 lnb

May be???
But my current setup without the switch has been up and running for a while now. I only had one lnb until now without the use of switch and I have been using 118 and 119.
My only issue is that old LNB is not going thru the switch and that is why I can connect to 2nd lnb for 110. So far I have test one LNB at a time and they both seem to work by themselves. Even new LNB is going thru while switch is connected and I can get signal and watch channels from 110.
But once I connect my old LNB thru switch then it won't show no signal and won't lock to 118 or 119. While I flip thru different TP freqencies then once in while it will lock to 110 but never to 118 or 119.
