I have been reading...and seeing lots of IPTV services on here....posted on classified but I still haven't seen anything that has some real good Anglo Content, specifically Canadian Content. Does anyone have any recommendations at an IPTV service that has what I"m looking for.... Global.. CHCH... CBC....and any other good English speaking content. Seems most of the IPTV services out there are mostly weighted towards the Arabic market...

thanks in advance....

Probability of you finding what you are looking for through these iptv servers are slim. The majority of the english content you will find on them is from the UK, not NA. If you truely want iptv with that specific content, google vmedia.

I know about Vmedia.....I keep seeing on Kijiji and from time to time on here.... people offering some kind of IPTV service with CP24....Global... CHCH etc.... but I'm not sure what IPTV provider they are actually using...or if the service is very reliable. I would rather deal with a reputable person from on here then from Kijiji.

Google vmedia, it's a Canadian company, not some guy selling something from the classified adds.

the member asked for specific content through an IPTV server. if you are specific in what you want, sometimes the only way to get it is through a legit source

Yep it's nice when you can get the English channels to work. Most of the locals are from Quebec so the English is a lot of french.

French SyFy, I nearly crapped when I saw that.

Actually the Listings in the guide for all English has been removed lately so you have got to either put them in the favorites or scroll through them since they are all over the place.

If you just bought it and it is working your subscription is good till 2016 at which time you will be paying 150 a year there after.

How do I know this? Because I have been testing the Live since the first Beta box came out for them. Now I and all the other testers got booted out for telling them the truth that their software sucks and their support is total crap.

If you noticed the Live has been selling much cheaper than before, that is because they are going to dump them and move on just like they did with the IKS receivers.

The Jynxbox IPTV machine are just as bad, we have been waiting for months for a way to update Frodo to Gotham and Kodi and we have been having to go to unofficial ways to do it since they will not discuss it on there so called Official support site.

The M1 I have, I had to flash it with a Pivos image to get Gotham 13.2 on it.

But with the Vmedia, I would assume the box you need to run it is not going to work if you decide you dont like the service and want to change to a different IPTV provider?
Just a thought if anyone was looking into it. Correct me if Im wrong......

it seems like this would be a good choice for anyone in Canada looking for an IPTV solution. Not without it's downfalls though, read through their forums a bit. It appears to be a legitimate service like USTV stateside and just in it's infancy really. It seems the real problem is Cdns want US programming and many Americans want it the other way around and between the FCC and the CRTC they have seen to it that you can not do that legally even though the internet is a global community.

When, notice I say when not if, the live server goes down you are left with junk not a Jynx.

I think what I was getting at with my original question is there an IPTV service.....besides VMedia..."legit sources" that offer a good English Lineup. I know all about the legit providers in Canada, there's a few of them popping up over the past year besides VMedia, and their basic package is usually around 25 dollars cheaper then basic cable. What they don't tell you up front is you have to also sign on to their Cable or DSL package to get the service. You can't use your current ISP and just purchase the service. The MAC address of the box they sell is locked to the internet service. A box say like a Mag250 can be more mobile, you can take it with you when travelling, to a friends house and in my case I take it to my GF's place. I tested one service provided on here and it's not bad for the price, quite a few movies as well (VOD). But what off the main stream service has the most English Channel lineup is what I'm trying to get opinions on...whether it's US, Canadian or UK....

thanks...and sorry I didn't perhaps make the question clear when I first started this thread.

Bit of a change from your initial question. If the content source is not important and you want mobility, read up on xbmc and simple iptv. That will give you what your looking for and there will be no cost with the exception of buying a xbmc box, or if you already have a laptop, use that, and no cost.

It is, if you only want it on one TV. 4 TV's, 4 Boxes, 4 Subscriptions. At say 25 bucks a month, that's 100 plus your internet.

Anal retentive or what.....geesh...I was just asking for opinions on what IPTV service had more english channels....the question didn't have to be over analyzed. I'm sorry for asking.....and from my own research it looks like Voodoo so far has the best English channel lineup.....

And an FYI.....I didn't ask about XBMC....and am very familiar with it.
