Bin question 102 or 103. T5 questions.

Just got a t5, nice pic quality but I must say I don't understand why Dreamlink doesn't have a page up/page down feature (!!!) Am I missing something?
I use that all the time. Way easier on the hands. That, I really don't like.

But beautiful picture. (Not adjustable! at box level - what's up with that?) Jynx better there.

Can I ask the veterans which bin I should be using: 102 or 103? I'm presently using 102 because I read somewhere that 103 was not produced by DL.

Hi Zoo, my remote, the rectangular one, does not have p+ p- buttons but your suggestion made me experiment further and I found that in EPG mode if I press the "chapter ahead/ and chapter back buttons", it does the page scroll up/down. These are the light gray buttons in the top circular sequence They sort of look like this: l< >l They actually don't name these buttons in the manual I received with unit.

ok, thats the same as the remote for the t4. at least the one i got with my t4..

the only thing I could find on any site, including this one, was that a certain problem could be solved by using 102 instead of 103 but I didn't have that particular issue, so ....

Currently file 102 is working fine ..

Yeah I read that. I wasn't sure if that was a bad thing or not though. for example:
The jynx clones aren't made by the original manufacturers but people still like them.


I'll just stick to the 102. Thanks all.

Well, I didnt even realize 103 wasnt from DL coders.....Been using it along with a few friends and no probs so far.

- newest channel list updated

- various brands of router connection improved

- internal bug fixed
The 103 was not released by the Dreamlink team.

Hey Hunter, (or anyone else) do you have a preference between bins? Is it worth switching to 103? Any info appreciated.

Unless you love to test, why fix what ain't broken.If you are having issues with what was listed as improvements to the bin then you may want to try it. Just keep in mind the bin was not released by the Dreamlink Team.
