Animal actors should definitely be compensated for the parts they play in movies. They make us laugh, cry, and certainly keep us entertained. You may be shocked to find out just how much money some of them make.

Rin Tin Tin Rin Tin Tin, the most famous of all German Shepherds, pulled in a cool $6,000 a week. He starred in 26 movies for Warner Brothers and was instrumental in preventing the studio from filing bankruptcy in the 1930s. The original actor died in 1932.

Keiko the Killer Whale Keiko, the star of 'Free Willy', brought home a paycheck of $36 million for his starring role. He was given his freedom in 2002 but sadly died of pneumonia in 2003 off the coast of Norway.
