Hi guys; Today it came to my mind, why not to try to install Win 10 Preview on my Hp DV-6 1259DX, nothing to loose,
So i removed the original 500BG HDD with Win7 Home Premium installed, and replaced it with an HDD 250GB that i had in my scrap.
First i went to the same site where i downloaded Win Vista ISO for the other laptop HP-DV-5,and downloaded Win 7 Home Premium Iso and burned Image to a DVD-RW and installed it,i had no problems, everything installed and updated OK automatically accepted the activation key,o i went to the site for win 10 upgrade Preview and registered and started to download win 10 preview build 9926,at first it gave me some errors that failed upgrade to Win 10 Preview build 9926,these are the codes i came across.
code;800401fd,802400b,80240055, i checked with Microsoft, what were those errors and how to fix, learned if i had error codes to try Dr Fix it, i did run Dr fix it, and afters a few tries to upgrade, rebooted and tried upgrade one more time, now the Upgrade started and installed and now everything is running smooth so far nothing to point out, installed Google Chrome and now i'm set,
When i boot to desktop it gives me the choice of Win 10 preview and Rollback
i don't know what that means is it I can go back to win7?
Here's a pic attach of the desktop.

Thanks Bro: also can you please tell me, what is different between Win 10 preview build 9926 and
Current previews of Windows 10 such as Windows 10 Technical Preview build 9841, 9860, 9879 will all expire April 15th 2015.

All the previous builds are just that. Every time they added and tweaked something they called it a different build. The older the build the more problems it had or was missing something.

I heard that it's in works win10 Preview users will be abe to update to Win 10 RTM final, instead of making users to do a clean install that was previous announced by Microsoft, yet to be seen as so the free upgrade for Win 7 up graders

preview mean just that. don't expect it to be bug free, don't expect it to run forever. I am guessing that Apr 15/15 is the kill date for all the beta versions floating around and then you either buy the new one or you roll back to whatever you were using before

I don't need to rollback because i have the original HDD with win 7 to go, it will take me 3 minutes for win 7 to be running again,
Check this link;for what i understand will be free.

I have seen the link already but I am not sure what they mean by the free upgrade. I can't see then giving a free upgrade to someone who got windows 7 when that first came out about 5 years ago. I am thinking they mean if you bought a new system now and it had win 7 pre-installed you could upgrade it but I am sure there is some type of backwards cut off date as well

"I can't see then giving a free upgrade"
Well if that is true, then no problem ,i will rollback to the previous version,or go back to Linux.
i will not pay a red cent, ever for an OPS,Ms only has to loose by charging the Win 10 testers money, first they gain more MS haters, and loose alot cause people wont buy win software, apps and so on.
