I have a Nfusion HD, and a phoenix receiver. both were hooked up, bit a couple of years ago.
Can someone direct me as to where to look so I can get preferably the HD receiver up and running again?
I have the dish's ready to go, and a line to my computer presently. but I have no idea what to do next.

You need N.O.I. and a NFPS donation!!
Read in the Nfusion section!!!

I see this is an old thread, but why you telling him he needs NFPS donation?
Tell him any donation will do that is still in business

NFPS donation because it will still be good for IPTV

Hi I'm new here either. I'm totally clueless where to start with my Nfusion HD. Where do I pay the donation? What do I start with? It's been a few years and I need help. I've gone through some discussions and none of them tells clearly where to start. I appreciate ANY help!!!!

Telling someone to just read, is pure BS
No one here was born with all the answers.
Guaranteed, everyone here was spoon fed at one time or another.
Once you know a Little bit, it makes you king s***, and you turn your back on the newbies

Hey everyone, this is my first time back after everything crashed a few years back and I'm feeling a bit intimidated and nervous about asking for guidance. I'll tell you though, I'm going to do my reading and get this figured out one way or another and I'm also sure there is help for us newbies here. Thanks in advance.

In general There are 2 options to have hfusion hd running again:
1=using NOI program through a computer; the computer must be on while the box is on.
2=using a modified (flushed with dd-wrt software) router connected via cat5 cable to the box and to your lan router.
In both cases you must have access to the internet and a subscription to an private provider.

no everyone here was not spoonfed. the people you refer to as king s*** have educated themselves along the way. Read what they could and experimented along the way. People who insist on being spoonfed is just like that old adage of give a man a fish and feeding him for a day. As soon as the first little glitch happens they are stumped again because they failed to learn anything from the get go. Ignorance is really only an excuse for laziness

I'm not a king s*** but I have an IQ of 162.4 and 1/2...or maybe my IQ was 1/2 of 162.4 which would be 81.2...at any rate I'm a complete genus. All bs aside I'm not either of those things but I did stay at a holiday inn last night.

You are right no one is born with all the answers but I would be willing to bet that a great percentage of questions can be answered by reading because someone has already been there...done that. Can't speak for others but I go into detail with some of my posts in the hope that some one will do there research and run across one of my post. I have also posted most of all the things I've run across and collected over the years and posted them so others will hopefully run across them and it will help them out. Some things from years and years back...so I don't know where you get others are tuning there back on newbies. You want to see something just plain sad...be on a board and read a newbie question coming from someone with a join date going back to 2003.

Just for the tally book I started out in this stuff in 2005 and knew very little about an fta box aka pansat...but I read, researched on things others had done to see what worked and didn't...what to do and not to do. Downloaded anything file wise I ran across that may help me out from Oct. to Dec. of 2005. Also played around with loaders and various things that was used with the stb's to see how they worked. So when I finally decided to buy my first stb in Dec. of 2005 I was good to go...also once I got my pansat I played around with it learning it's functions instead of just watching tv all the time...which seems to be a lost art now a days.

At any rate this thread should be used as a tool on what to and not to do when posting on a board...out of date thread, highjack, off topic etc. etc...or basically all over the place. So I say let's just call this one a done deal...not to mention I just got completely wordy with the post. :D
