Because sv8000 is old my 8000 does same thing my otherhd unit works fine no chop.

Not really,because NBCSN and BEIN Sport USA working flawless,they are sports channels with live games as well.

What is quality like? Maybe dish needs a tweaking or your system needs tuneup/re@re connectors/electrical grease/dish alignment/check for plum/ever replaced coax? You get the drift. Let us know if it improves when you're done.

Yes I have 2 SV8000 they both do same thing only on certain HD channels like 9424 espn for ex. It's specific to sv8000 I have other FTA works fine. It's the emulation on the SV .
