It's hard wired

try your ethernet cable on something else to see if its ok

also, make sure its connected tight on both ends

Yup what he said, the hard wire needs to be looked at to make sure it is in working order.

I changed it to brand new Ethernet wire still giving the same problem..could it possibly the problem with the box?

Yes it could be the network card, it could also be your donation code and if you have a modem you should repeat the process of rebooting the modem, router then the reciever in that order. Have you tested the new cat5 to ensure its working?Don't assume a new cable will be in good working order. You can also plug direct to your modem to eliminate the router being an issue with the receiver.

this worked for someone with the same issue

keep the Ethernet cable plugged into the box while the switch from the back is off, unplug the router, and your modem. Wait a couple of seconds, plug in the modem and wait until all your lights are solid then pplug in the router. Finally, turn back on the switch from the back. You should be good.

Good day guy,

It was the network card that was loose from the inside. I was able to fix it and its back to working condition.

Thank you for all your help :)

A better description of how you fixed your issue would benefit all.
