It didn't take oddsmakers long to react following Floyd Mayweather's announcement of a fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Within minutes of the announcement, books across the globe had already posted lines on the fight, with Mayweather coming in as a significant favorite.

Sportsbook.ag opened Mayweather as a heavy favorite at -295, with Pacquiao installed as the underdog at +230.

The two fighters will square off May 2 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

As far as fans go.. there is a huge Filipino population in Ca.. plus Manny
has a huge chicano following which is big in Ca and Nevada, ect..
I believe the crowd will be pro Manny.
The newspaper had close up pics of bothe fighters today..
Floyd looks so much bigger!! As I have posted earlier,,
I think the size will make the difference. (but I have til May 2 to change my mind!) hee hee!

Marquez outweighed him.. and ko'd him... and Marquez is a midget.

Nice to see your comments here, I knew that it was just a matter of time. Floyd is bigger and his timing is extraordinary, we know timing can beat speed, that exactly what we'll see. A bigger guy defending well and countering. Oddmaker do know more or less.

I have to be perfectly honest... I think it will be a dull fight! Styles make fights..

Your expertise in boxing is awesome, I see it just as you posted. I even think that Manny can't beat Maidana in 147, he will have a hard time getting him off in the clinch. Floyd is fast and very smart, his timing and ability to counter is unmatched.
