I have been trying to decipher if the fish was just bait in the first place but the girth of the rod seems a little small to be hooking into and playing with a shark.

I have been trying to decipher if the fish was just bait in the first place but the girth of the rod seems a little small to be hooking into and playing with a shark.That was a Kingfish largest of the mackerel family. I had a similar fish on and a baracuda cut it in two with one pass.................
