They seem to have been on the fickle side lately or hit and miss.

not really, quite a few are down, it may depend on the server though. At least with mine quite a few are not working, and havent been for almost a week.

So are mine a lot of HD channels are down.

Lots of HD is down, and has been for a while.

I think the affected sat is the 129..I get hd on 110 and 119 but not on 129

What channels work for you? For me all of them down except 9421 which is public channel

Some are VERY slow to come in. I left on ESPN HD for 5 minutes before it popped in, and it's running freeze free. Other are just gone..ie Weather Channel....
