I posted my trouble in the Viewsat section but that obviously was the wrong place to do it.
I have a dual tuner HD Bev and a SD Bev as well as a Viewsat Max HD.
I'm using dual legacy lnb's. 4 feeds coming in from the dish. 2 feeds on 91 and 2 feeds on 82. They are going into a SW44 and 3 outs on the SW44 are feeding the 2 Bev receivers and the last out is feeding a diseqc switch (EMP Centauri) to my Viewsat. On the diseqc I have 119 on port 1, 110 on port 2, 129 on port 3, and 91/82 on port 4. My switches are all in my basement. Too cold in the winter to change it if one blows.
The Viewsat reboots and then eventually wipes all the channels for some reason. I replaced the Diseqc with a new EMP Centauri thinking the old one was faulty. I also replaced the 8psk module in the Viewsat too. I have the cover off the unit and a laptop fan cooling it just in case it was overheating.
If I don't program the Bell satellites on the Viewsat, it works ok. Also when I set up the Viewsat, I have to set the diseqc to port 4 and the legacy switch to SW42 not SW44 or it doesn't see a signal. I have a feeling it's a power problem conflicting with the diseqc and SW44. The feeds are maybe 30' to the switches from the dish and maybe another 30 to the receivers.
Is there a better setup I should look at, like a 3x4 switch setup with the diseqc and SW44?
I added a pic to see if this looks like would be the setup I need.
