As previously announced, Boxing from now on will be live on NBC. (SB NATION) Bloody Elbow issued the latest yesterday on the debut of PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS which will be televise on prime time TV on NBC. This is scheduled for 8:30 pm EST/ 5:30 pm PST.

Here is the scoop (from SB Nation):

Opening the night will be Adrien Broner vs. John Molina, Jr. Love him or hate him, Broner is a dynamic fighter who brings excitement to his fights. For his part, Molina was in one of the best fights of 2014 - a crazy war with Lucas Matthysse that you have to see. In the main event, red hot rising talent Keith Thurman finally gets a serious test as he goes up against Robert Guerrero - another 2014 possible FOTY participant. We'll have more details on both fights in our upcoming previews.

Join us here at Bloody Elbow for Thurman vs. Guerrero results, discussion, and live fight coverage this Saturday, March 7.

THURMAN VS. GUERRERO FIGHT CARD:

Keith Thurman (24-0; 21 KOs) vs. Robert Guerrero (32-2-1; 18 KOs) - Welterweight (147 lbs.)

Adrien Broner (29-1; 22 KOs) vs. John Molina, Jr. (27-5; 22 KOs) - Junior Welterweight (140 lbs.)

Aqua's take:

Who do you like?
Personally, I think this is "discovery time" for Keith Thurman. With his lacklustre showing against Bundu last December, many are wondering if Thurman has been exposed. I think this would be a great fight.

As for the egotistical maniac, Broner, does he have what it takes to overcome Molina?

I will be glued to my front row seat!

Ko's everywhere last night but the main event clash introduced the little known but surely fast rising Detroit junior middleweight Tony Harrison to the tv boxing world.

That guy looks just as fast and accurate as Tommy Hearns. His record of 20-0 with 17 KO's is pretty impressive against a former Golden Globe champ in Antwone Smith, who, unfortunately was outweighed and outclassed by a bigger opponent. He was flattened by a devastating straight right!

Looking forward to some action tonight.

Friday night fights are horrendous!!! total mismatches... someday someone gonna get killed.
Even Atlas was lost for words... the promoters and managers of the fighters should be outlawed.
I only watch them when there is absolutely nothing else to watch..
Tonight should be much better.

Molina is washed up... belongs on Friday night.. horrible performance..
No wonder he has lost 3 in a row.. Time to retire John.. quit taking people's money.

Broner was just too good! In the post fight interview, I had to blink my eyes. Is Broner a changed man? Ok...just a little bit!

Too bad, Guerrero could not get untracked until after he was knocked down. Thurman won but Guerrero won a lot of fans.
