Hi everyone,

I am trying to add 110 and 129 to my setup and running into problems. When I connect direct coax cable to my receiver then both of them lock into the signal. But when I try to go thru 4x1 switch then both satellite signal changes to 118 and lock into that satellite for 110 and 129. This is what I have for antenna settings for all of them:

18x24 eliptical satellite
Pinwheel HD mini satellite receiver

Sateliite name: echostar 14 (119w)
Tuner: 1
LNB type: KU_Lnb
Local frequency: 10600
22Khz: Auto
Tp frequency: 12224/v/20000
Diseqc parameter: A
Diseqc 1.1: none
Legacy switch: none

Signal 66%. Quality 95

Sateliite name: echostar 118 west
Tuner: 1
LNB type: ku_lnb
Local frequency: 10600
22Khz: Auto
Tp frequency: 11715/v/20000
Diseqc parameter: A
Diseqc 1.1: none
Legacy switch: none

Signal 68% Quality 95

Sateliite name: echostar 10/11 (110w)
Tuner: 1
LNB type: ku_lnb
Local frequency: 11250
22Khz: Auto
Tp frequency: 12224v/20000
Diseqc parameter: D
Diseqc 1.1: none
Legacy switch: none

Signal 68% Quality 95

Sateliite name: Ciel 2(129w)
Tuner: 1
LNB type: ku_lnb
Local frequency: 11250
22Khz: Auto
Tp frequency: 12516v/20000
Diseqc parameter: C
Diseqc 1.1: none
Legacy switch: none

Signal 68% Quality 95

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance,

Providing you haven't made connections to the disq switch with receiver turned on then the switch should be good. You didn't mention what brand but I find chieta works well. In any case adjust the disq switch to a b c or d until you have a lock. For example if the receiver says 129 is on d and indicated in the upper right hand corner of antenna settings, then leave it on d and move to the next satellite and change a b or c until you have a lock. Let us know if this helps.

Right now all the LNB connections are coming thru disq switch. Switch seems to be working fine because 118 & 119 are going thru without a problem. Even though I have hooked to a specific physical port on switch, changing thru receiver won't be problematic if I choose number 3 on switch but picking port b on the receiver.

Switch is emp-centauri

Diseqc 2.0 switch s4/1pcn-w1

Do you know why are these satellites are locking to 118 or 129 even though I have chosen 110 & 129 thru the receiver list?

On my receiver, I have changed port A-D and 1-16 for 110 but it still locks to 118 every time.

You are saying when switching to 110 you are still receiving channels from 118. Is this correct and if so I would try another switch like a chieta and make connections with receiver unplugged. let us know

Yes I wouldn't change the 1 to 16 . Just use the a b c or d.

PS: you don't need the 22khz on. turn off

No, I am in antenna setting of my receiver and that is where I see locked to 118 satellite. When I go thru epg and select a channel from 110 then it shows no signal.

22khz should be off on all the satellites or only on 110.

friend you might try posting a picture of the dish and lnbs your using for sats 110-118-119 and 129 and a picture of switch or disecq your using to make sure the lnbs are circular and the one for 118-119 the special one for that two sats, and the local frequency for 118 and 119 it should be 10750 not the one you posted and tp freq for 119 its 12297 not 12224 and for sat 110 if the tp frequency 12224 is not locking try using tp 12282 for 110.....

Thanks for all or any input. After trying few more times, I decided to change the switch and with new switch all the sateliites are locking into signal thru diseqc switch.

So now I want to delete all the channels and do the scan again. As Steven pointed out that my LNB settings are wrong, I was wondering if someone can tell me what should be settings for each of these satellites (118, 119, 110 and 129)? Should I scan one at a time or all of them can be scanned at same time ?

Thanks,

I would use auto scan. It doesn't matter what tp(transponder) it is on when scanning as the receiver will go by the ones that are dead and scan in the ones that are alive.

The only info you forgot to tell us is what type of LNB's are you using??

This is critical in the LNB settings.
