Manny Pacquiao skips training session, concerns grow over calf injury Posted: 03/30/2015, 11:06am | Kevin O'Brien, Digital Editor at Sun Times Network
Manny Pacquiao’s calf muscles continue to cause the Filipino boxer problems.
He reportedly missed his Saturday morning workout

With his regular running partners having assembled outside his Hancock Park house just after 6 a.m. on Saturday, strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune arriving soon after, and a throng of excited fans waiting a few miles down the road at Pan Pacific Park, word soon filtered out that the 36-year-old would be a no-show.

“Manny won’t run today,” Fortune said. “It is not the end of the world, but we do it for a reason.”
Trainer Freddie Roach sparked some concerns earlier last week by admitting that Pacquiao had been suffering from cramps in his legs, claiming they were being treated by a combination of massage and a special cream that costs $1,800 per bottle.

Fib's comment: Can that cream have something in it that will show up on the future drug testing? Mmmm lets wait for the conclusion of this soap opera!!!!

It's not about the healing, it's about the substance of a cream that's worth 1,800 dollars. Sounds like a very expensive (product).
He must have been working very hard, cause his legs are one of the biggest in boxing.

Pacquiao posted a two-minute video of his morning workout where he is seen running on an oval track, doing plyometric routines and shadowboxing.
“Morning training. Training hard now so on May 2 I will be in the best shape. #MayPac,” Pacquiao posted on his Facebook account.
Over at the Mayweather camp, the pound-for-pound king also showed a glimpse of his late night training.
The WBC and WBA welterweight champion shared a 15-second video of him pounding the heavy bag while wearing a shirt with the letters “TBE” imprinted on the front and “47-0″ at the back.
Cramps have plagued Pacquiao during his training camp but showed no signs of discomfort as he closed another grueling day of work.
