I have a dual LNB that's getting 110. I am getting signal on my one of my receiver but not my other receiver. The other receiver is getting 0 S and Q. I tried changing the cable but still no luck. Anyone know any other possible reasons?

Swap the cables around up at the LNB, if the problem jumps to the other receiver then you have a bad port on the LNB and need a new one.

110
Port 3
22KHZ OFF
Single
11250
Its on a Chieta heavy duty 4x1 switch...could it be a switch problem?
Hey mavrick, if the signal does not jump to the other receiver then what else would be the problem

Hey mavrick, if the signal does not jump to the other receiver then what else would be the problem
Do the same thing on the switch, swap the 110 cable around with another sat and see if the issue jumps to the other sat, if it does then you have a bad port on the switch. Also you can also run the 110 cable directly to each receiver with a barrel connector (no switch) and test them again.
If that does not revel the problem then post your ENTIRE set-up (LNB's, switches, receivers & settings) as Steven asked and we can go from there.

Hi guys so I tried fiddling with the wires and it seems like the cables are working fine when I swap them from one receiver to the other. So before concluding that the switch is the problem I did a factory reset of my dreamlink T5. After the factory reset I inputted the sats and for some ODD reason I was able to get a excellent signal on 119 which is not suppose to be because that LNB port is suppose to get 110. I can miraculously watch 119 on my dreamlink and 110 on my CNX ON THE SAME LNB....weirdddddddd
my setting for the 119 on dreamlink is
sat: 119
LNB type: single
LNB Freq: 11250
22hz: off
disecq: 2
legacy sw: off
can anyone give any insight into how this is possible?????
Iam using 2 heavy duty chieta 4x1 switches for 2 receivers

Well, you might be really, really confused about what you are doing--that actually is my best guess. One of the two boxes might be telling you that you are on 110 when you are on 119 (or 119 when on 110) and you can't tell the diff because you don't know what channels are on which satellite. You might have the dish really badly aimed or the diseqc sw settings are not what you think. All in all operator error seems a good bet.

The sats are 9 degrees apart in the sky, you have selected one sat and scanned the other in, the banner @ the top will display the actual sat you are receiving.

My dreamlink T5 receiver says I am getting 119 at the top and I am getting channels like 196 and 200 but am not getting channels like 186 on 110 sat
My cnx receiver says I am getting 110 at the top banner and I am getting 186 but not 196 or 200
this is just soooo odd

What type and brand of LNB do you have, and how many on that dish???
A dual LNB does not tell us much, there are several different types of dual LNB's, and they all take different settings.
If you were getting 110 before then did a factory reset and now your getting 119, and only have the one LNB on that dish, then you have a DP twin LNB and do not need the external switch.
The DP twin LNB is setup to receive both 110 and 119, you have to set your satellites settings to OCS-DP for the LNB and Diseqc port #1 for 119 and Diseqc port #2 for 110, all this without an external switch.
Your settings should look like this if you have a DP twin LNB.
sat: 110
LNB type: OCS-DP
LNB Freq: 11250
22hz: off
diseqc: 2
legacy sw: off
sat: 119
LNB type: OCS-DP
LNB Freq: 11250
22hz: off
diseqc: 1
legacy sw: off
If you don't know what type of LNB(s) you have then post a photo of the dish/LNB(s).
