I've reported in the past with my 10' that my arc is 15-105w, tried to see how far east I could push. To my surprise, I picked up Express AM44 at 11w. One working tp with two Russian channels:

3662 V SR 10808- circular c band
1TVRUS zapad
RTR Planeta+RR- two open channels at 52% quality.

My new arc is 11w-105w.:yeaah:

Since I've never gotten my bud this far east before, thought I'd show a couple of photos:

I'll answer all questions in sequence of posting. Where are you located Risk? In order to get to 0E, you must be in NFLD or somewhere close. Unfortunately, with the exception of AtlanticBird3, all sats have spotbeams for Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East.
Terry, my jack was maxxed out, just as I got the ERR message on my vbox, I maxxed out quality on the 2 Russian channels at 62%.
To answer your question Bowhunter, I think they were Russian shows, last Saturday when I pulled this sat in there were old Russian movies playing in black and white.

Both jacks are moving dishes across the arc. Nothing seperate, each dish has its own feed.
6' 15w-129w
10' 10w-105w.

If properly installed you shouldn't have any issues doing the same arc as me.

any tips on installing it correctly?

The guy that helps me out with my installs always asks me what side of the arc I want to see- I always answer the East side because on the west side not much after 129w, unless your doing 4dtv. When your behind the dish, my actuators are attached at the extreme left of the polar mount.

yea, since i started closely watching your post "My arc 2" im not even thinkin about 4dtv programming. . .the receiver is nothin but a dish mover now lol

can you please take a of your actuator?

thanks. . .

so with your dish in the lowest position and jack almost fully closed your dish startin point it in the east?

why i ask is because of what you said, you like the arc in the east and your jack is on the left side. . .while most ppl here have theres on the right side. . .unless you live on the other side of the equator from me.

Your best bet is to position your dish to the East side, attach jack on the left but make sure it is not extended. As you move your dish West, it'll start extending itself.
The pictures you saw, the jack was only slightly extended, it was at 45w. If I move it to 15w, there is hardly any extension on the jack.
Good luck buddy and keep us informed with pictures as well- I would suggest you start your own thread.

Yeah when I saw the pic and saw the mover I went (huh?) for just a second. LOL

I don't think it really matters which side the mover is on because if you have your dish setup properly on the sat arc the mover should be halfway extended with the dish pointing south and should probably allow the dish to go just as far one direction as it will go the other regardless of which side the mover is on.

I've never lived on the east coast but maybe there is a point in the U.S. going East where the BUD companies put the mover mounts on the left (East) side of the dish.
