It is believed the man fell from the seventh floor of this apartment building at 4175 Lawrence Ave. W. in Toronto, April 6, 2015.

TORONTO - A 31-year-old man plunged to his death while attempting to scale a highrise in Toronto Monday night.
Police say officers responded to the deadly fall at an east-end apartment building shortly after 7:30 p.m. and found the man's lifeless body on the ground.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene," Const. Victor Kwong said Tuesday, adding no foul play is suspected.
It's believed the man fell from the seventh floor while traversing one balcony to another.
Residents of the highrise say the man was a well-known tenant of the building who appeared to suffer from mental health issues. Some initially wondered if he may have been trying to reach his ninth-floor apartment.
But Kwong said that doesn't appear to be the case.
"Witnesses have advised us that he was just playing around, climbing the exterior of the building," he said. "So investigators have deemed it death by misadventure."
The deceased, whose name was not released, was known to police.
