There's a fight happening in under 30 days, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is seemingly on schedule to arrive at the maximum fighting weight of 147 pounds when May 2 finally rolls around.

A foto posted by the World Boxing Council confirmed that Mayweather Jr. met the requirement for the 30-day weigh-in, as the fighter checked in at 150.5 pounds -- only 3.5 pounds over the welterweight limit.

No word yet on how Mayweather Jr.'s opponent, Manny Pacquiao, fared. Though there's no reason to be concerned for Pacquiao's status -- the smaller fighter should have no difficulty staying clear of the 147-pound limit.
Boxers are weighed 30 days prior to fights to ensure they don't drop weight at a dangerous rate. At the 30-day checkpoint, boxers are allowed to be 10 percent over the weight limit. They're also checked again a week before their fight date, when they must be down to five percent.
Mayweather Jr. has already hit that mark -- must be all that swimming and wood chopping.
