My south recently went down with my provider and as is usual it took a few extra days for the HD channels to work again. The problem I'm having is that 129 guide is not populating. 119 and 110(SD) are populating fine. I hit the yellow button for guide population and all SD channels came in great but channels in the 9400 to 9600(mostly 129) did not populate.

Any ideas as to why and how to fix it would be appreciated.

Thanks

did you get any HD on 110 as that one has a few channel working?

Yes. Channels reception is normal and fine. The only problem I'm having is from 9400 to 9600 I'm getting very little to no guide. I've re-scanned and I get the same results.

There were no changes to the box and the guide worked until this last ecm. Is it related, hard to say but since that ecm 129 won't populate.

Do the lines of channels in the epg say no info or just stay blank ?

If they are just staying blank do a hard boot from the rear switch.

I'm getting 'No information'

sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes and I often hit the guide button two or 3 times

I hear ya. I tried all the usual tricks including what you just suggested torpainter but have had no luck. I have about five days of guide loaded for all of the SD channels just no luck with 9400 to 9600(129)

Still, don't underestimate the power of a good old reboot.

Unless that's already been done, that, along with a soft boot could help with possible tp changes as well.

Thanks for all the suggestions. But so far no luck. And I did a reboot and it did not work.

I did a search of the threads to see if I could find something and I found a thread that I started(duh)on 11/03/2014 with the same problem. As it turns out I did a factory reset and rescanned all and 129 then worked. I'm going to do it tomorrow again, lol.....and post the results.

Thanks again for the help.

I know not to post live links so I posted a partial link to the thread I'm referring to for those who are interested.
