network setup ??

been working on this thing for hours...and no luck..
i have entered all info regarding pri.server over and over no connection.......is all i get...

how do you delete the server information once it doesn't work......as in box 1 or box 2......factory reset does not work...........done that 3 times.....

have started over at least 3 times .........right from factory bin and all the settings......i did finally get 129 to finally show up under dish settings....and the other 2 sats 110 and 119 not tuned in .....even after many adjustments...

So with 129 tuned in i downloaded the channels.....and now i am stuck with this horrible network setting problem...getting sever NOT Connected...

I have to say this is the worst receiver i have ever seen for network info....or should i say the lack thereof.

any ideas would be appreciated.....

If you follow the guide you will setup antenna settings so you have a lock on all satellites that you are receiving. Then and only then move to adding server information. If you make a mistake when entering information, then backup cursor and reenter information correctly. Once you have information entered, exit and you will be asked to save and exit again and save. If the server does not connect, check that you server is up. If all is ok with your server then check your connection between router and receiver and reboot router. Grandson 7 years of age setup mine only because of my eyes so take your time enter the information and don't second guess yourself that information must be wrong if the box doesn't hookup.
Once you get all done and if there is no guide then set the time and guide will appear in a few minutes. good luck

Hi Dish..
i looked at the make2dream....did a download ......could not find the .exc......to change to exe....what there are only 3 pcs in the folder....one with machine language.....and no file .exc.....that i could find.

Who knows....
your were on the Money.....i re..entered my data for one of my servers..and got super lucky....its up.....
I have 2 more sats that will not communicate properly and won't tune it.......but the one dish i didn't try to readjust......is working..
Wow........a week of struggle....nitemare from hell.....
