hi guys..
went through the blinking lights scenario.........called the dealer......advice.....
1. disconnect the line from the sats.
2. disconnect the main power.
3. open up rec. and pull the qpsk chip......leave the cover off
4. hook up without the chip...and turn on rec.....
5. this should clear the receiver and it will boot up properly........if it doesn't then you know its the receiver .....
6. replace chip.....making very sure the chip is put in properly.......pay super close attention and make sure pins line up....test it with the cover off.......
7. if everything is cool turn off power and disconnect and then put cover back on...

sometimes all it takes is dropping the cables.......all of them.....
and power off the receiver and then repower it .....don't hook up anything else...and reboot it.....see if the front end clears...
sounds like it has.
