I had posted that my VS Max fried but I wish I could have had a chance to try this setup before it did die. I am running dish 119 and 110 on legacy lnb's (dish 500 dish), running bev 91 and 82 on legacy lnb's (dish 500 dish) and dish 129 on it's own dish running a legacy lnb. I have the two 91 in's from the dish going into a 3x4 switch and the two 82 in's from the dish going into another 3x4 switch. Two 91 outs of the 3x4 switch goes to a sw44 switch for my Bev sub and two 82 outs off the other 3x4 switch goes to the sw44 switch as well. Three outs of the sw44 go to my subs.

On to the Jynxbox V4 Pro. I have port 1 of the diseqc going to a 22Khz switch, where off is going to 119 and on is going to 129. Port 2 of the diseqc is going to 110. Port 3 of the diseqc is going to one of the 91 ports off the 3x4 switch. Port 4 of the diseqc is going to one of the 82 ports off the 3x4 switch. This setup seems to be working well.

When I had all the sats hooked to the VS Max, I didn't have a 22Khz switch since I forgot I had one.

Am I safe running this configuration?

There is nothing wrong with your set-up.....if it works. Some receivers have an issue with running 22khz or SW21 switches into a diseqc switch then to the receiver, so they have to switch it around and run the lnb's into the diseqc first then into the other switch, but if yours is all working then great.

Excellent! I actually love this box. Nice and compact. Sure come along way from the Viewsat days.

OK, now I have been using the Jynxbox and I'm not impressed. This box keeps losing signal. I have to turn it off and on to get the signal back. I have 5 sats running. North going through a two 3x4 switches then port 1 and port 2 of my diseqc. Then I have port 3 going to 110. Then I have a 22khz set to on going to 129 on port 4 of the disqec and the 22khz set to off on port 4 of the diseqc. I might have to use a power inserter to boost the power to the diseqc even though its only 40 feet from the receiver. Any ideas to make my setup better? All 5 lnb's are legacy ones.

Well, I would suggest you do a little testing of the voltages. A basic multimeter would let you evaluate the DC levels at the dishes. Just insert a splitter or measure off the unused sw ports.

This set-up does not make sense, I only count 4 lnbs....82, 91, 110, 129 unless you meant to say what you said in your first post where...... "the diseqc going to a 22Khz switch, where off is going to 119 and on is going to 129" ?

If that is the case then refer to post #2, what you can try is run 82, 91, 110, 119 all into the diseqc then the diseqc into one side of the 22khz, then 129 into the other side of the 22khz, then the 22khz goes to your FTA receiver, and see if that fixes your signal loss issue. Your setting will look something like this........

82-Diseqc 1> 22khz on.
91-Diseqc 2> 22khz on.
110-Diseqc 3> 22khz on.
119-Diseqc 4> 22khz on.
129- 22khz off.

Unless this is a DPP 1000.2 LNB or a DP switch don't waste your time on a power inserter. It will push 18-20 volts to the Legacy LNBs and they will not switch.

Yes sorry. I'm using 129 and 119 through the 22khz switch. Just using regular dual lnb's. I bought two Bell powered 3x4 switches today to replace the EMP ones I have. The EMP ones will take power but I have no power supplies for them. Is there anyway to run this setup better to get all 5 satellites?

Oh forgot to add that my dish setup is working fine, it's the Bell side that is acting up. If this ECM survives, I was thinking on getting a V12 that has more current output.

Does the SW44 have it's own A/C?

I removed it. Just running the two powered 3x4 switches now (one 3x4 for 91 and one 3x4 for 82). 3 ports on each 3x4 switch are going to SW21 switches then to my sub boxes. There is no sw21 switches going to the diseqc or Jynxbox. The last port on each 3x4 switch is going to port 3 (91) and port 4 (82) on the diseqc going to the Jynxbox. Port 2 of the diseqc is going to 110. Port 1 is going to a 21Khz switch (or the EMP equivalent, S2/1PCN-W1), one side to 129 and the other to 119. Sound like this will work ok? I haven't tested too much yet. Just finished rewiring everything. My subs are working good so far. Haven't played with the Jynxbox except from going to different channels on each satellite.

I found an easier way to make it work. I bought a second JB200 tuner and used one tuner for 81 and 91. 119, 110 and 129 on the other. Then I sold the Jynxbox and now I'm going to order a V14. It has a 1amp output that will help.
