Hey guys, i had to rescan my T5 hd and now i am unable to get a lock on the following TPs.

I am using a standard lnb set to 10750 i can access other TPs but not these:
I get both bars in red and have set to manually scan the TPs with the settings but it will simply not lock, any ideas?

TP 27 118.0W 12.11125 R SR: 20000 3/4 FEC QPSK DVB-S
TP 29 118.0W 12.14175 R SR: 20000 3/4 FEC QPSK DVB-S
TP 12 118.0W 11.88025 L SR: 20000 3/4 FEC QPSK DVB-S

and

129° TP 17 129.0W 12.45728 R SR: 21500 2/3 FEC 8PSK DVB-S

thanks Jeff

Is that LNB your using for 118 the special circular polarized low band kU LNB?

118 is a wired bird, it is in the low kU band like most linear satellites (like 97W) but it's transponders have circular polarization (Left hand/Right hand) instead of linear polarization. (Horizontal/Vertical)

So you need the special LNB for that bird.

A standard LNB may not work too good.

thanks for the response, yes i am using the correct lnb sorry, i can get other transponders, and i was able to access the same tp's before factory setting the machine.

However the T5 software doesn't allow for a R/L selection, only H/V on any TP, any idea?

Ahhhh...OK, what size dish are you using for 118??

118 is a lower powered output then the 110/119 satellites, so you need a larger dish then normal.

But if you were getting it before then it could be your receiver, if that's the case then someone with your brand of receiver may have to help you out.

It could just be a software related issue, but I'm a hardware guy, so can't help beyond that.
