kodi 14.2, but I check with kodi 14.1 and is the same result

on mine from my homepage i go into setting,scroll down to display and use the arrows to move the screen either in or out. When the white line appears at edge its good

but show box,hd cinema and others the display fit the screen, the problem is with kodi

It's not a Kodi problem, it's the way the stream is being sent. Just click the enter button when you are watching the channel (stream, movie, video or whatever) and on the bottom go to the icon that looks like a film reel (next to the subtitles icon) then scroll down to ZOOM AMOUNT, click on that and you can adjust the sceen size.

i had the same issue ,it worked for me It wont hurt to try it
