V3 Clone questions

Hello!

I used to be a member here way back when ftatalk was still going and my VS Extreme wasn't collecting dust on a shelf.

I have decided to buy a Jynxbox V3
(From here) and am going to assume it is a clone. I asked the seller if it was and he said no. He also said it was preloaded with the latest files which makes me think its a clone even more (so i dont go and put a clone killer on it).

I have a couple questions.

-What is the difference between the latest clone safe file and the latest original file for the jynxbox V3?
-Is there a difference in hardware performance?

If it works good with the firmware that comes with it don't change it, if it don't work good then ask what the best to load, we can help you with it.
