Inquiries regarding the status of specific channels should be consolidated to one thread. We see these questions asked frequently, and most are littered among multiple threads.

We know that most servers share the same seed and therefore have similar channel lineups, but sometimes differences exist. And while some channels frequently go up and down, there is value for members to know if their particular channel is up on any of the servers, at the given time. Let this be a place a safe place where members can ask (not beg) regarding whether a specific channel may be up on any of the servers.

To clarify, if a specific client's channel goes down on their server, that client could use this thread to ask other members if anyone still has that channel up on any of their other servers. The community of members would help that client determine if their server is ahead or behind the others, for their channel of interest.

If you look at the way this forum is set up now, you'll see repeated posts in the each server's up/down threads asking about the status of specific channels. It's clearly making the resellers annoyed. As mentioned, the intention is not to beg for channels, but to determine the status of specific channels across the multiple servers, as nobody alone has access to all of them at once.

Regardless of how you try to word it or how you think the intent would be, this would only turn into a channel begging nightmare. As stated above, if the channel is up, it's up, if down, it's down.
There was a community at one point but those days have sadly been lost by the free tv'ers who have unrealistic expectations due to some unknown sense of entitlement.
If someone wants a specific channel that isn't available, find a resource that does have it available, which might result in having to goto the actual provider.
