I have been here since around 2009. I help others when I can. I ask for help if I need it. Others have been very helpful here. My question is,for those of your/our members that have used or are using Ulti*** for Northern viewing you have decided to no longer help those individuals. That is not what a Forum does. A Forum is for discussion and to help our Members. The lack of help and info is compounded by the home site being down for whatever reason. I would suggest we all try to get along in this hobby, be helpful, considerate and lets all try to use a little patience. These are my feelings. Thank you everyone for your continued help in the hobby.

You are 1000 percent correct..a lot of bashing then helping..certain individuals have lost the basics of what the purpose of a site. I want to thank you for your post and only hope others will pick up on it.

Yes I know you have been a Member for many years but I would like to know your opinion on what constitutes a good informative forum. Thanks

A good information site is not, nor should it ever be just a portal to a p$ site or member at that site.
That portal, through this site is a privilege, not a right.

Thank you for your input. I believe that members just want to be able to discuss info and topics that do not cause undue controversy.

then put the blame on the reseller that caused the controversy and move on

and another one bites the dust
so here it is in a nutshell. it has always been a policy here that we do not discuss other sites unless it was in the members best interest. it has also been a policy here that those conducting business here also offer support in the forums and by PM. they both knew the rules. One just up and disappears and then sends a messenger to say he is only open for business via email. the other publicly announces that he will no longer be posting because he is tired of getting spanked by irate clients in the forums since he refuses to address PMs and is trying to re-direct members to a website that is not even online.
so they both left of their own volition so why do you expect staff and members to have to look at the foolishness daily? if you feel that they ripped you off then email them or go to the non-existant site and file a complaint, or get a lawyer and sue them. if you expect the rest of the community should have to listen to you whine and cry and dry your tears because you got played by these two you are sadly mistaken. if all you are out is a few dollars then consider yourself lucky.
so now I am closing this thread as well and it better be the last one that i have to look at
