I used to install sat dishes for Dishnet in Waterloo Ontario Canada. I recently checked the site "dishpointer dot com" to refresh my coordinates for sats 110w and 119w using a dish 500. I am very puzzled by what it shows for the skew settings. I have always set the skew at 120. DishPointer coordinates show skew at 59.5. That's a 180 from what I have always used.
Can anyone confirm the skew setting?
Thanks

Your kidding right.

120 +60 = 180

Think about it.

That's because you chose Dish 500 from the multi lnb list :)

he chose 110 & 119 so he got this:
Your Location
Latitude: 43.4643°
Longitude: -80.5204°
Satellite Data:
Name: 110W & 119W
Distance: 38664km
Dish Setup Data:

Azimuth (true): 224.4°
Azimuth (magn.): 234.1°
Dish Skew [?]: 59.5°
Turn clockwise standing behind the dish

if he would have hovered his mouse over Dish Skew, it would have told him that he might need to subtract the number from 180

Thanks guys. Appreciate the guidance. I thought 120 was correct.
