Why is IKS ending anyway? Also this says it will do IPTV so that was in my decision to buy. If not, WTF, it's only money :-)

guess they are tired of giving away free tv..this is just a glorified iptv receiver you can find much cheaper iptv receivers out there.

i hear ya im waiting to see what happens it is a nice receiver i have the linkbox 8000 works great i use android boxes for iptv right now

So I got it installed. The remote was DOA, but I have a Harmony remote so I programmed it to work. But now the problem is finding an update that will let me enter P$ settings. I can scan and us IPTV. The channels are there for All 3 birds. I did download one update that gave me new IPTV channels and some extras, but no p$ info.

So, does anyone know where I can find an update for p$ settings?

Update: I got the the server settings using the F2 on remote and 0000 password. TV up and running. So far very impressed with this box. PVR works really good (Jynbox never worked). Now I just need to know how to manually IPTV channels.

Where did you get it from? I am looking to get one and called linkbox usa to ask where I can buy one on Canada? He told me that they found a problem with the unit and I have to wait until Friday for more news release.

What is the problem? Did they give any details?

Only problem I had is the remote was DOA, sending back for a swap.

I bought one of these boxes to replace an is-9000 that i've used for a couple of years. I can't get where to put my server info in. The "hidden menu" ppl speak of all over the internet just isn't there.

I downloaded latest factory files from internet through "update over network" option and I've downloaded the v058 file from the internet and updated through usb stick - still not able to put in my private server info.

Please help if anyone can.
