As it stands now you have only two choices with the sonicview 8000:

HD20-2028 (http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?119203-SV8000HD-HD20-bin-CCE-Fix-May-05-2012&p=851038#post851038)

HD20-2028_NoChk_2nd_chksum_2nd_try (http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?134086-iHub-emulation-for-windows&p=957394#post957394)

The first one is for an original iHub, newlink and or svlan that has been converted and loaded with version 4.12...the second one is for use with the wiz110sr boards that have been converted to an svlan with version 4.12...the second one should work with both.

Was wondering if it was wrong to have V514 2028 before i get started ? I was reading somewhere else that this was the correct one for the 8000 at iHub 2.2 .. Is there an advantage to updating to the svlan HD20 ? Thanks ..

Yes there is the hub will not work at 2.2.Loading the hd 20 2028 in receiver will update hub to 4.12.

On further investigation you maybe correct on this...I assumed seeing there was only two files for the 360P and 360E that there was only two working at present with the 8000 as well. If you have that file and that file version working then I would leave it as is...nothing will be gained by updating. A lot of those newer versions for the iHub came out to work with Akai server outfit and they changed the iHubs over to a svlan...such as the 4.12 if memory serves me right. Old saying goes...if it ain't broke don't _ _ _ _ with it lol.

Plus at that time most were already switched over or had updated there iHubs with the svlan files. Also the less you mess around updating the iHub the better...less of a chance locking it up.
