I just changed my 118 LNB its Digiwave make, brand new
Same (10750) freq
On lnb it say Linear Circular polarization but when connected all Horizontal TPs r all absolute no signal

I tried various lnb types but no success
My setup
Anik 118
Lnb type single
Freq 10750
Saw Dish 1
Single dish

Is lnb bad or it's just not good for 118, thanks.

Do you have just one coax connected to the LNB directly from the receiver?

Or are you going through a switch?

If you are going through some type of Diseqc switch then it may be at fault.

The standard LNB take +13 and +18 volts DC to switch between the transponders, +13 volts DC gives you the "V" transponders, +18 volts DC gives you the "H" transponders.

If you have the correct settings for that type of LNB then it could be that your not getting the +18 volts out to the LNB for it to switch.

A test would be to use a DVM and set the receiver to look at an "H" polarity transponder, then by carefully disconnecting the coax going out to the LNB you measure the DC voltage at the receiver, this is done by using a small paper clip and inserting it into the "F" connector where the coax was attached.

You should see +18 volts DC, plus or minus a half a volt on the DVM.

If you do then you need to check it out at the LNB, just carefully disconnect the coax at the LNB and measure from the connector to the center conductor, you should see the same DC voltage, anything lower then +17.5 volts DC and you have problems in the coax.

Did you get the Digiwave DLG-1189S LNB??

And also what size dish are you using for 118?

try changing lnb to universal and when you do adjust the lnb freq if needed

yes removing switch works,, but my old 'Focus' lnb works with same switch.

Sorry forgot to check if LNB type DLG-1189S LNB while out there i will check it later.
My setups has 110 as well, my 118/119 Dish is simple round 30".

OK more info helps.

You have 3 LNB's on one dish, (well one dual band LNB that counts as 2) so you will need to use a Diseqc switch, how you setup this switch is up to you.

What brand(s) of LNB is being used for the 110 satellite?

If a standard LNB for 110 and you have the dual LNB for 119 and 118 then you can setup the Diseqc switching as follows.

Diseqc port #1 = 119W
Diseqc port #2 = 110W
Diseqc port #3 = 118W

Sorry i should have been more clear to yiu,,, i thought 110 info does not matter because there was no issue there. Again my setup is;
one dish for 110, standard lnb,
one dish for 118/119, one LNB

Total two LNBs not Three,
switch was sw21, 118/119 as sw21 dish 1 and 110 on 2.

Thanks for info,,, i will do some more testing on weekend.
