scan for channels

Hey guys! I had a quick question. If I scan for channels, will it delete my previous channels or will it just add any new channels to the list? Thanks guys!

Usually double up channels. Channels get moved around so it is good to rescan every once in a while. If you think you are missing a certain channel you can scan a certain transponder that holds the missing channel.
