Read this thread and past threads for info. If you find it too much jynxbox has another clone out number 114 I believe that is cheap and may make it easier if you don't have the time or the patience with that old pansat. You could also go with dreamlink t5 if you wanted a box that isn't a clone. In any case IKS could be ready to slam the door so you may want to hang tough for a bit. Good luck

The dash typically indicates the main sw checksum test in the boot failed. If you hook up a serial cable you might see a "N" rather than a "Y" being sent by the boot. If you want to do TRUE FTA then any pansat 2700 file will do--they are all 7 years old or more.

That brings back memories...the night rider effect lol. You should be able to load the factory file with loader and cure that problem. If memory serves me right turn the pansat off via back switch...hook the null cable up from the pc to the pansat...have the loader ready to load the file and as soon as you flip the back switch on the pansat to on click load on the loader...it's a timing thing so it may take more than one go. Once the factory file loads the pansat should reboot to on showing on the display and then you can reload the v211 file to use with the client. All the files you need should be in the file section...make sure you use a null cable and not a straight through.

I may have a how to I came up with a lot of years ago stored on a cd around here somewhere...let me know if you need it and I'll try and find it later...got a ton of files and stuff archived for the 2700A from back in the day lol.
