looking to get a jynxbox ultra 14. do i need the wi fi adapter and what is it used for....what are all the things i should be making sure my receiver comes with thanks again

you really need to do some reading! I was just looking over your other posts here today since you joined. Obviously you are very unfamiliar with the sat scene and you need to educate yourself. First you said you ordered a Nfusion HD. Not a receiver for a newbie at all. Then you are asking questions about both Dreamlink and Jynxbox. And, really what is WIFI and do you need it?

now I am not trying to sound rude here but if the life expectancy of IKS is any where close to the rumors floating around the sky will be gone black before you ever get a system up and running

ive been reading also and i find most the moderators just want to blast people for asking question. thanks for spending the time to give me crap and fail to answer the question..seems to be the thing of the site..maybe you moderators should just answer some questions instead of given there little opinions

ok here is your answer in terms you can understand. WIFI is wireless internt so unless you plan on running the box using a LAN cable you need one. Now here is the fly in the ointment for you. According to DN claims it is possible that IKS will be done for all SD boxes in 2 weeks and maybe HD as well. So if you can order up a box, set it up, find somebody to sell you an IKS subscription and get it all going in 10 days , you might have 4 days of viewing pleasure .... just my opinion ;)

i understand what wifi is. just that some sellers sell it with the wifi and without. but thanks for the the response. you must really have nothing to do if your answering question you think are so stupid and even reading all my posts...i hope i can find some other folks that are willing to take the time and actually want to help a guy out. i may not have 5 years of service but if i did i would want to try to help some people instead of trying to prove im better JUST MY OPINION so what is everyone else opinion of the timing of me starting this hobby

well it was a stupid question really and honestly how do you expect any one else to know whether you want to run it wireless or not. I have been answering stupid questions for at least the last 10 years now so that one was nothing new to me.

that said and done you do raise an interesting point though so lets see if any one else wants to sound off on this question.
