yes you are right
you forgot to mention the annoying thing that involves serching for "free channels" updating the "list" every hour, or, low quality, or 20 min of TV, or all the things that came along with FREE things
again, yes you are right

Hi my friends
now 15 day trial with a low low fee
PM me
saludos!
If their iptv customer service is the same as the iks service I would strongly suggest steering clear or going with a trial before committing to any long term to decide for yourself. I have had noting but bad experiences with them and very rude customer service on the iks front, but I have not tried the new iptv service.

If you are doing that then you don't know how to use Kodi and IPTV properly  but I'm sure you'll induce many gullible peeps into giving you money for things they can get for FREE!
You money hungry sellers have ruined this 'hobby' and evey stage of it starting back in the days of plastic and I'm sure you will ruin IPTV for the rest of us also!
Oh BTW, discovering and exploring the different addons is part of the fun of Kodi and IPTV. Only the 'free TVers' are lazy enough to give you money to do this for them. Hey, it's their money, if they want to throw it away that's their choice. My choice is to not throw my money away to sellers like you, NFPS and all the rest!

I see pro's and cons to paying for an IPTV service. It's right to say that it can be a time consuming hobby if gathering links and lists yourself but only when it comes to LIVE TV. For anything and everything else there are very simple to install and use addons like genesis which gives you all the movies and tv you could ever want as well as adult addons for infinite amounts of content.
The down side is it takes a bit of time after a tv episode airs for it to be made available online (VIA addons) usually it's a few hours before the top streaming sites have active links for it which is what the addons detect and get content from.. but its 100% free and no subscriptions, no finding lists, no upkeep or inconvenience at all other than having to know what you want to watch before you watch it, which brings me into the EPG issues.
We have all been told for far too long by tv networks what to watch and when to watch it that we have a hard time thinking of and deciding on something to watch so for many folks they NEED an EPG to carelessly watch tv. This is the down side of most iptv services.. there is no EPG or an inaccurate or outdated listings.
The last thing I'd like to mention and a big CON for iptv is the bandwidth issue which NONE of the services mention.. which in layman's terms; is that everything you watch you are downloading and it counts towards your bandwidth cap (if any) with your internet service provider. So if you watch a movie on your IPTV STB then it uses the same internet data as downloading the movie on your computer if not more. HD content gets up into the gigabytes per hour and could leave unsuspecting users with a rather large internet bill for excess bandwidth
I have yet to find a decent iptv service as some are crap from the start with low bandwidth and too many channels or they start out great with a decent amount of channels but then take on too many subscribers with out upgrading server speeds and it starts freezing all the time or during peak times because remember every channel must be compressed and sent over the internet to each subscriber the same as sending a movie file to each subscriber.
When providers learn to stick within their bandwidth restrictions and either upgrade or not over subscribe and EPG issues are fixed then I will find IPTV to be a viable solution for the future which users will pay for. Until that most might pay at first but will quickly dump the service for free options which are sure to surge on ad supported sites and such..
Any input on my observations from you Tirolocop / OP as it pertains to activa's new IPTV offering

You don't have to gather links unless you want your own list. There are a few other Live TV addons besides Stalker and NFPS that have the same channels, for FREE! ;)

It is not the addons being the issues when it comes to LIVE TV its the fact that if its free and popular it would require massive and incredibly expensive bandwidth to maintain. When a popular show comes on in prime time and thousands of people all tune to that channel then the server can not handle it all. When it comes to free or paid the issue remains to be bandwidth. Free ones being worse as more people learn of it the more use it and the slower the servers are able to respond.
The more popular the service then the slower and worse the service will get until they incorporate advertising or some type of monetary gain from each viewer to pay the bandwidth bills. There is no way around bandwidth restrictions when it comes to IPTV

Yes, I understand that. I've been in this 'hobby' since it first started and know all the pros and cons for every aspect of the 'hobby'. I was just pointing out the fact that you don't have to compile a m3u list for your Live TV as there are other ways of satisfying your 'free tv' needs. :)

Oh, what should I do today? Oh yeah, let me try and revive a month old thread so I can 'hawk' my service! :rolleyes1:
Why limit this to just activa iks members? :disappointed: Good marketing know how would offer this to every gulible peep that doesn't know how to get these channels for FREE!

hahaha  You are soo mean c8rb.. Did you take your meds today ? :tehe:
true people can get iptv for free but if they wanna pay for a hassle free experience, then just sit back and laugh like the rest of us. I suppose if I had no time on my hands and wanted even just the free VOD's that you get for "FREE" with genesis rather than spend the hour or two to learn kodi and how it works and best addons, i suppose i would pay some guy on the internet to give it to me along with live updated channels.. You are just so mean and grouchy about it.. Shame on you! LMAO :hehe:

Well, if you took the hour (it doesn't take that long and you spend at least that long posting here :)) to learn Kodi and it's addons you'd see that it is more stable with better quality than these so called 'services'. Genesis IS NOT the addon to use...it's good but there are better for both hd live tv and VOD movies etc.. How was I mean? Sarcastic, but not mean! I just wanted to point out to the OP that a free trial for all would suit his purposes better than limiting the trial to peeps they supposedly already have. Not that I would 'donate' a wooden nickle to these 'services' but there are those who want to throw their money away.

why??
do you had a bad costumer servixe???
you can read plenty of posts saying it is the best
but anyway
theres no need to bash, im not saying you are, but, that guy with the free stuff do not see cleqrly to whom is oriented this service
about just activa users it is becouse iks is dying and it is an inmediate migratio to them
saludos
ps live channels always up no need to searxh every day and suffer for disconnecrilns or blackouts
its like pay for netflix but with live channels and new movies all HD

*I* spend lots of time here and other forums, and I was willing to learn how iks, iptv and kodi all works. Most folks out there can barely turn on their computer let alone attempt to install a program. Which is why the preloaded box's are making a killing right now.. Anyways my point was just.. To each their own.
I only used genesis as a quick example not as an endorsement there are several great addons for free livetv like navix, robinhood, phoenix, ect.. but this is not the thread to debate kodi addons :manner:

Sorry bud, I have been a member of activa iks for a while now and I am counting the days until it expires! Poor customer service, no updates during server down times and service interruptions and quite a bit of down time compared to the other services.

I agree with most of what you say but I would venture a guess that the members here know at least enough on how to turn on a computer and if so can learn to load Kodi and it's addons (it is simple) so they can get their 'free tv' and VOD instead of paying someone for inferior 'service'. Most of these new boxes have Kodi and the popular addons already installed on them so it can't get any easier than that. I would also venture a guess that most peeps have that IKS state of mind and think that the only way to get these streams is to pay for them. I am just trying to inform them that they can get these streams for FREE and not have to depend on/if a 'service' is working or not. So far from what I've been reading from peeps that have a 'service', they aren't very good quality or very dependable. I have yet to be disappointed with my FREE HD quality streams and VOD and usually have multiple choices of streams to chose from, not just one choice that a 'service' provides to you.

 I give up. lol There are advantages and disadvantages to both. You push the free every chance you get which is fine if you didn't put down the services out there you have not even tried at the same time. Anyways I don't like where this is heading so I think we both made our points.. time to move on

You have not been paying attention to what you quoted! I have kodi, and tons of free addons. For me it is not worth buying a roku or any other IPTV stb. I have spent the time to learn how to get and use everything for free. However if I was buying a present for say a grandparent, an stb and a decent service would be a better carefree option.
The point of my post was to give you an idea of how current customers of the Activa IKS service feel about the quality. We are not happy, so we are obviously going to criticize any new service activa offers. Anyways good luck bud.
