View Full Version : Irritating ad on Satfix

Every time I visit Satfix there is a flashing ad informing me that I have won an ipad2. In addition a website fastjsload.js also tries to load automatically.
I cancel the website load however when I try to navigate through the site and change pages it comes back every time I change the page and tries to load.
It is becoming very irritating.
What's up.

Maybe you need to disable an extension in your browser.
Are you using Chrome?

I am using internet explorer.

Check the extensions in the browser, that is the issue
it is not the site.
Try grabbing a free copy of C-cleaner and check under
tools/start up/internet explorer.
It is simple to use and very user friendly.

ad global ... not google

But you should really not us IE . there are only a few percentage that requires IE for viewing.

But untill its fixed ..make sure your flash player is updated and or block some cookies or ad / script block add-on will work .

I am using a Samsung S4 tablet with Chrome
Lately if have been having trouble with the ad on top of satfix page
Coming from ...

hxxp://system-update.androidsafety.net/mm/androiddownload/v04/blk_scanner_EN_72d193e4/b/360omni_12/alert_alt_c.php?p1=downloadactivity&p2=com&p3=main&subid=_yjfpQF-ebOy8_HE_rWQht1nCK5W-Cj_S4y28iBXZxo&l=35302&ept=F4O6ZReIig8P33lN%2FC%2B%2FqeOd3gslTifWca9wxS9C 40YxRXrfhqroJGdi0K3HG0qwu3gQB8Q7M6QyJ8MvT3iTiA%3D% 3D

It would sometimes pop up and take over my full screen ...
Today I can no longer load satfix cause the same ad is taking
over at start up of satfix and doesn't let me into the forum
(I am using Firefox to post this)

I am not getting the pop up while visiting other sites from chrome
(only while trying to load satfix)

I have disabled popups in Chrome settings ,,,, but still the ad appears

I have also downloaded and used AVG to scan the tablet for viruses
and none were found ,,,,

Whatever is happening is happening at satfix ,,,,, any suggestions ?

It seems to be coming from here in the source.

<div id="ad_global_below_navbar"><BR><center><script src="//go.padstm.com/?id=125538"></script></center><BR></div>

I also only get it here at fix, in Chrome and Android. The Android tells me to install the new Android patch because I have acquired a virus from visiting Adult sites. The patch itself is a very well known and vicious virus lol. I am still working on it, but seems it is a combination of Browser infection and the site source code. Not getting it in explorer right now, but that has it's own set of issues lol.

alex70olds

In Explorer,
</script><center><script src="//go.padstm.com/?id=125544"></script></center></div> is displaying the old standby, outdated java script popup, and outdated media player popup. Clicking either will infect you lmao.

its cloudfare, the site will always change servers to keep it on the fastest one for the most connections it receives without ever showing its true location.. google cloudfare .. nice service designed to protect against ddos and server issues (a reverse proxy) and as result is the gateway for all traffic to the site.

Just to follow up, some content (CSS Etc.) is at
static.satfix.netIn fact it comes up 18 times in source. The above then goes to
http://static.satfixnet.netdna-cdn.com/ You can go ahead and go to above URL to view what appears to be a mirror.
netdna-cdn.com then returns to~

Domain Name: NETDNA-CDN.COM
Registrar: MARKMONITOR INC.
Sponsoring Registrar IANA ID: 292
Whois Server: whois.markmonitor.com

I have no earthly idea why a site like this would have any content in their hands lol.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I could be wrong, but I would not think speed would be all that important lol.

Oh yeah, If you offended DN for selling something they did not like on ebay, you would get this~
