Anyone know if there is a program that will take a request from a single receiver and send it to 2 different iks servers and return the control word to the receiver from whichever server returns the control word first?

If you have 2 servers setup in a serial order, sometimes you miss control words that would otherwise be received (eg. timeout is 7 seconds. After 7s, you switch to the 2nd server but don't get the control word in the remaining 7 seconds, but would have possibly received the control word from the original server in that remaining time.

I think you should sign on with a p$ that has a good server and then you wouldn't have to worry about timeouts. Either that or your IP is slow. good luck

There are no servers that never get a CW timeout. This isn't related to 'slow ip'. Round trip times for connections are less than 200ms.

Sorry you lost me. Your first post said "single receiver and send it to 2 different iks servers" and wanted "whichever server returns the control word first? " Then you say it is not related to "slow ip". Anyhow all I can say is uncle and there is no prog=ram, so it must be me that's a little slow.. good luck

no program that I'am aware of but some receivers already do that if I'am understanding correctly what the op is asking,

ex: the jynx will connect to the first server to send a cw back if you have more than one server activated and will flip flop between however many servers you have activated, most newer receivers are set up to operate this way even some older receivers that use 3rd party programs to run like gooware are capable of this

some receivers do not work well with more than one server active, and others miss control word on one and then jump to next server only to have to send request again there as well and the wait time becomes longer than if it had stayed on the original server
