Weird issue when switching from dish to bev

so.. let's say i am watching a dish channel.. then i click SAT and select 82 (bev hd).. when it switches, i will get BAD CHANNEL OR SCRAMBLED.. i then have to power off the receiver and turn it on and then it will work.

If i'm watching BEV channel and switch to dish, i don't get that issue.

Why are you going into the sats and clicking on a Bev sat or a Dish sat? Just keep it in ALL SATS and click a channel number to go to that channel. You don't need to click individual sats.

i go to sats to quickly go to my bev/dish.. with bev and dish combined, there are way too many channels.

That's why you put the channels you watch most often into FAVORITES...or just remember the channel numbers :) Sounds to me like you need to read and learn more about how your box works.

I agree you should use favourites as and I'm guessing, that half the channels are scrambled so surfing would be a pain. As far as way to many channels, you could edit out the ones that don't work if you have a couple hours to spare.:splat:
