IKS CLUB Ripoff

I recently purchased an IPTV receiver MAG254 from IKS CLUB (iksclub.com) from Canada. They advertise with their subscription, they have over 10,000 movies on demand and all open DISH/BEV/SKY/IPTV channels, including all PPV and adult channels. It was all FALSE ADVERTISING in addition to the constant freezing issues. So I decided to return the box and I sent them an email. A guy by the name of Lucas responded with the following email with threats:

“You opened the box?? You will pay a restocking fee simple as that and if you give us problems we will be a HUGE problem to you disappointed you joking??? You see the channel lists?? we do not accept USED products back and I will tell you now Mr. XXXXX you give us ANY problems you will be the 1 with the Problem just like every other person like you gave us problem that will end up with a letter and all your details given to the right people..You want to talk about us like that? I am very very upset with you do not make me more angry you will REGRET it for the rest of your days

1. Did you change your buffer settings??? Doubt it
2. What is your internet speed? Do a speed test
3. I will forward this message and your email to over 19 000 paid members that will flood you with praise to our company"

Since I paid with Paypal, I opened a claim and I already sent the box back to their Canada address and I am expecting a full refund.

Today, I opened my email and found over 400 “spoof” emails from Canada. It seems they are living up to their threat, so I am expecting more emails. Their threat was real.

Buyers beware! Stay away from IKS CLUB! They not only try to sell you an inferior product, but they will make sure to harass you, if you are not satisfied with their junk. That is so childish and unprofessional. I don’t know how people like that can stay in business.

yeah he doesn't play nice. I warned people up front about him and he started mail bombing me as well. Not because I bought from him but I got tired of his damn spamming and told him so. I didn't get mad, I got even. If you still have all the emails and they came from a gmail account or whatever report everyone of them to their abuse email address he will stop :)

report his website to his webhost as selling piracy devices and the site will be gone as well

i have heard that some IPTV boxes when u load them up with a bunch addons it suffers from freezing issues..not sure if is true or not i dont use iptv.....also u need unlimited web access.....i seen them on e-bay pre program like post 1 mention, so i wounder if thats a common scam thats going around?

Well, buyer beware. I am not sure why you wouldn't have done some research on this guy. I googled it, and tons of red flags. I'm sorry you got screwed over, but even a little bit of research would have saved you the headache.

Wasn't that site selling the cod123 IPTV? If so he must have a reseller panel from them. Maybe a headsup from someone that knows them could get his dealer panel shut down so that he doesn't pull the same sh*t on others.
I doubt if any IPTV service would want to be associated with anything like that - he may be selling yearly plans and only paying the cod guys for one month and then will disappear.

I think you are absolutely right. He is selling the boxes with a 2-year subscription, but when I checked my account in the box, it said it will expire in 30 days. I wrote to him and he said not to worry, that his computer updates that every month. It sounded fishy, but your conclusion shows the real scam.

This morning I received an email from another FORUM. Must have replied to some previous thread long ago, don't remember. Anyway the link FTA Patriot links to IKS Club. So he's advertising hard and I am sure glad to have caught this thread. Sure appears to be a great service on the outside looking in but sure appears to wear a different mask from friendly when you need a little support. Heres a copy of his email with the links fta patriot distorted. There is sure a lot of crap being sold by crappy folk nowaday on the net. Guess when you find a good reseller from here or somewhere else, stick with him. Being using same seller a long time and is up front and a word that still means something when you need an opinion on a new or existing service. Buyer beware for sure and this just proves you can never read to much, cause its the first review on this cat and definitely one to stay away from!

Just my observ, but when buying a preload they seem to lock box to that service. Captive repeat and useless box when service
ends up on extinct list.

Got Bet tv working for 3 minutes and started to freeze.

Tried to change channels and it froze and then went into a boot loop four times then came back.

Then I get voice and no picture.

Rebooted and now 30 minutes later it is sitting on the jynxbox logo froze.

Support is moving backwards in time at the Official support site.

I was a mod there and complained about these issues in the back room and gave up.
Took it out in the open and they banned me.

As I said before a POS.

For the 300 bucks buy a mini computer or a netbook for 200 bucks.

My buddy is leaving on vacation this weekend and I asked him to leave me his box so I can play around with it. I'll report my findings. But yeah 300$ is very steep. He told me it comes with 1 year of channels, then he has to pay 100$ . What really bugs me about all these boxes and services is the lack of an epg... I mean, it's fine for sports fans that know exactly when their event starts but channel surfing for a movie or tv show really sucks.

yes he paid a lot for a pre program box...but a buck a year is not bad if u get a nice channel list with tons of great channels and never go down.....Dish or DTV over 175 a month.

I dealt with Lucas and he is straight up and honest Gave me a free trial of his service Liked it a lot better than the other scum sucking resellers I dealt with in the past
I had one guy tell me that I was stuck with him for good because He wouldn't release my MAC address from the ip guys system
Iksclub however said to give them the address and they could release it

I am confused here NOS.. is IPGUYS and IKSclub the same service ? Why confused ? I only asked if they are the same company or not as you implied but you did not provide an answer.. I looked at his previous posts when he made a separate thread praising iksclub and seen his complaints about ipguys but assumed as most would that they are different companies.. your last post, if true would be a big revelation to the views of iksclub for everyone if you figured out they are the same as ipguys just selling under multiple names... so whats up ?

So you essentially called him out as a liar because you mistook the wording of his posts to mean both services are the same ? Perhaps clear it up a bit here and let everyone know that IKSclub and ipguys are 2 different services and there is no evidence to suggest otherwise ?

You are a mod here and as such others take what you say with more weight then they do with the average users, so its kind of important to post accurate information and if a mistake is made to correct it as soon as possible for the benefit of the whole community here.

I am a member of IKSClub as well and so far I am 1 month in of my 3 months I paid for and it works well from time to time it freezes up or a channel does not work, seems no different then any other service being offered right now. Comparing it to Voodoo, and NFPS I like there almost all channel EPG. I also have only had good experience with customer service but I have not given them a problem like sending open merchandise back. Now if it is true what they did do I think it's wrong of them to handle stuff like that. I also had no clue IKSClub where resellers of IPguys service.

nice review and thanks for the extra info. The OP posted about a scam that they bought a box with a 2 yr service, it seems the last bunch of posts are regarding just the service from a reseller which is a big difference when you already own the box and get to pick the subscription length / duration. So far i have read all good things from customers of their iptv subscription service but not much good when buying the box with service.

Just trying to clear things up a bit for new folks just joining in on this issue to decide on a service. From everything said it does certainly appear that IKSclub are the provider for IPguys which makes IKSclub the top level service and a whole different experience then dealing with ipguys and perhaps even the folks that sell the box's with the service but I can't be sure of that as of yet.. time will tell! :D

Unless IKSClub changed services they are a reseller of IPGuys service. If you check the IKSClub instructional video on YouTube - you will see that they enter the exact same Portal URL that IPGuy uses - so how can it not be the same service?

I see that IKSClub has increased their prices - but the retail prices still seem too low to be real. If you look at their one year price to a single user they are selling it for less than what the some of biggest resellers of the service can buy for.
They make a very small profit on the 3 and 6 month plans - but maybe that's part of their business plan - selling in volume :-)
Let's hope they make at least enough to stay in business and honour their deals.

The prices that they used to offer were well below dealer cost and that is what raised a red flag for a lot of guys. Also the fact that they were selling 12 month plans to end users but only giving them credit for 1 month at a time instead of the full 12 months when they purchased.

If they give them all 12 months of service - great - but on the surface it has the appearance of a "grab the money and run deal".

I know the owners of IPGuys service had said that they had some problems with resellers in the past - but so far there doesn't appear to be any facts to show that IKSClub falls into that category.
