Anyone try Ultra bev yet? What do you think? Any better then ultimate?

That's exactly why I was asking. That and ultimate has been terrible lately.

Maybe ask them for the hostname/port and see if it's the same as other services. Although, even if it's different they could just be running a frontend server but using the same caching services as some other service without any of their own infrastructure. Try it out for a month and see how it is.

Reminds me of the server I used to be with and how it used to run. Very pleased with Ultra. Runs great freeze free. That's why I haven't posted again.

Can you check if they have the movie channels on 1270, 1271, 1272, and 1273.

I've had ultra for about a month, it's much better than ultimate, only thing I've noticed is it goes down every nite at about 11:52 pm PST for about 15-20 min. Certainly no big deal. It has a few less channels than ultimate, but much more stable.

I have not noticed this at all. Check your settings specifically your isp service at that time.

I flip over to a dn channel at that time and it works! Like I said, it's no big deal, only lasts for 15-20 min. I'm certainly not switching back to ultimate over that!!! I got no complaints with ultra

If they start with 3, i think the chans should be 427X as they are 127X for receivers that don't have the extra number at the front.

anthonym41, yeah you're right. The freezing depends on which channel you're watching. The common ones that are in most packages like TSN and Sportsnet are fine, but it's freezing on a lot of the others like HBO, CNN, etc.
