they would now, as of July 1st, MB has changed the law to distracted driving and basically can include anything that puts the driver or anybody else at risk. Cell phones, makeup, shaving, radio, misbehaving kids, & pets running wild in a car are all possibilities for a ticket. I think the fine for a first offense is $1000 and 5 demerits
