Trying to understand

I have a Mag 250 box, and I've enjoyed it greatly. I've been watching other stuff on utube about Kodi for the Mag 250, my question is, do I need Kodi o my box to watch live channels or can someone explain to me what Kodi is for if I can't put it on my Mag 250. Like i said, I'm trying to understand.

That's for the mag 260 which runs android, Kodi is an app for pc and android as well as for a few other devices. You can't run kodi on the mag 250. Kodi has many addons that let you get movies and tv shows as well as live tv.
