I have a circular low band lnb for 118.8 and other circular sats on a motorised 36". My question is, I'd like to connect two stb to it, noy quite sure how to do it. By the way, my lnb is dual output.

If its only 2 receivers than all you have to do is replicate your first setup.

What kind of switch are you using ?

edit - just 'noticed' the motor part . Combine both lnbs with a dp21 or 22 khz ecoda. You will bypass the motor . Only 1 receiver can control the motor .

Well if its motorized then only one receiver can run it so..How about using the loop out?

What if I use a 4x1 diseqc switch and have the motor on one stb off?

A diseqc swich will work fine but it will not be connected via the motor and you will have to run a 2nd cable into the house.

If the 2nd reciver is already connected to a dish you might consider combining it with the 36" dish.

Thanks Stan, not going to run a second line. Would a dn sw21 switch work?

If you do not run a second line you will not be able to watch both receivers at the same time . Combining the 2 lnb ports using a switch going into 1 cable will achieve nothing.

How were you planning to connect both receivers to the dish ? If you want to watch 1 at a time you can either loopout of one to the other or use a sw21 reversed ( from dish to out port and from the 2 in ports to receivers )

There can be nothing between the motor and the receiver that controls the motor. You must run the second cable from the LNB to the 2nd receiver. For the first receiver(the 1 that controls the motor), cabling is LNB to the motor and then onto the receiver. All settings in the 2nd receiver will be the same with the exception of the "motor=disabled/off".
